Daryl Capuano started The Learning Consultants in the early 2000s. It grew into Connecticut's largest private educational consultancy. In the 2010s, The Learning Consultants expanded into New York, New Jersey and Washington, DC. Daryl's practice grew nationally and internationally due to his books, media coverage and the growing acceptance of virtual consulting.
Guidance for high stakes educational issues
Daryl's first book Motivate Your Son emanated from his Student Mastery Program. This program was designed to train students to become master students. The Student Mastery Program was based on a holistic apporach to helping students. Motivation plus Study Skills plus Subject Based Tutoring.
Daryl's work grew into college counseling and then career counseling with a particular focus on helping young adults find careers that led to both happiness and success. His two subsequent books - Career Path of Abundance and The Parents' Guide to Career Planning for Your Twentysomething -both focused upon the challenges faced by young adults and their parents in relation to navigating the path from high school to college to career.

School: The emotional well-being of your children and the practical implications for your children stem from their school experience, with high school providing disporportiate impact on their move towards successful young adulthood.
College: The transition to adulthood - moving away from home - provides the most significant turning point in the lives of most 18 year olds. The investment of time, money, and energy has implications far beyond the college years. Those who do not successfully transition during young adulthood - college is not the only way to do so but the predominant way for those on this website - often struggle through their twenties and early thirties.
Career: As many parents of young adults have now discovered, the practical part of parenting continues for many into their children's mid-twenties and now late twenties. The world of work has shifted dramatically. Young adults need help and guidance more than ever before.
